Add a 6-digit code from an authenticator app to your sign-in, so a guessed or leaked password is not enough.
Turn it on
- Open Settings and choose Security.
- Under Two-step sign-in, choose Add authenticator.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, or enter the key shown if you cannot scan.
- Enter the 6-digit code the app shows and choose Verify & turn on.
From then on, signing in asks for a code from that app as well as your password.
Add a second authenticator
You can register two authenticators. Add the second on another phone, because there are no backup codes and a lost phone could lock you out.
Remove an authenticator
Choose Remove next to it. Codes from it stop working. If it was your only authenticator, you sign in with just your password.
Owners and Admins
Owners and Admins need two-step sign-in on before they can invite, remove or change the role of a teammate. Every signed-in person can set it up for their own account.
